and yes, ive broken an engine mount clutch starting in first. Not Good.
depending on how fast you are going, use 2nd or 3rd.

Also, make sure your car is in Reverse when clutch starting backwards, otherwise you may spin the engine backwards, damaging the engine internally, requiring an overhaul or a rebuild.</description>

Apparently, my battery&#039;s still ok (as shown by the activity on the ampere meter) but the engine seems to be having a hard time starting. Might be the starter. Thanks.</description>
