Dangerous Driving

January 12, 2013 By Teresa Martinez

Dangerous driving is defined as purposely or recklessly courting danger while driving.  It is comprised of doing activities that are bound to put the driver and other people on the road at risk as dictated by common sense.  It is elementary that driving requires concentration and anything that serves to remove that concentration and distracts attention from the road should be avoided. These are activities that people would normally perform without any problem if they were not driving.  Some of these are eating, reading, texting or talking on the phone, putting on make-up, and reading.  Clearly, these activities are best done in places other than a moving car.  If it is absolutely necessary  to do any of these, then  it is time to pull-over.

A sleepy driver is a deadly driver.  He can kill himself or others at the blink of an eye.   This is one of the most preventable reasons of vehicular accidents.
